What Our Community Says

Feedback from neighbors and visitors who trust our farm’s quality and values.

A very nice farm stand in our community on top of the hill. I was introduced by a very friendly dog, and walked out with some of the best pork chops I’ve ever had. They hae pork, beef, eggs, candies, syrup, firewood and more. Just follow the signs and go up the long dirt road off Nabinger Hill Rd. If you forget cash, don’t worry as there are several ways to pay.

We stumbled upon Silverwind Farm by accident, while looking for fresh vegetables. Although we didn’t find veggies, we had a wonderful time during our visit. We were met by a pair of dogs, one incredibly friendly, and one a bit shy, and their owner Amy. While my kids played with the dog, Amy was kind enough to provide suggestions of places we could get vegetables. She also shared information about their farm, showed us the cows in the pasture, and invited us to see their chickens, and their heritage pigs, which were the largest pigs we had ever seen. All the animals were outdoors and did not appear distressed. The chickens were protected in a moveable enclosure that allowed them to graze freely, and also be protected from predators.
